'Oh! I've been so out of touch for too long!'

Yup - That's what happening to me right now. Just too tired to go online and see what my friends are doing. Sadly to say, I only surf the net once in a blue moon. My work usually ends late so it's rather hard to meet up with friends on the weekdays. Weekends are nua-days and so, of course, I'll be slacking at home and so the so-called family time. Just seems weird that as I grow older, things have evolved in this way. Age is definitely catching up fast with me. >.<

I guess that's why I'm trying hard to fill up my weekends with activities now. Been hanging out with my colleagues for the past few weeks - KTVs, dinners.. We are even planning an oversea trip and a dance course together! Luckily my company culture is young! and hence the activities! I am happy.

I'm planning to meet up with friends that I hadn't meet with for super duper long. Hope that everything will remain its status quo - as in still being comfortable with one another. =D

Just some random stuff:

1)I've had a new haircut!! It's short and I think I look better with my new hairstyle - more personality/spunk and not with the mainstream but of course, that's what I say =D

2)I had fun at the first leadership workshop - I'm a RED!! Actually, yup! It's quite me though I believe that I do have a little yellow in me. On a side note, I'm falling asleep from the book that I'm supposed to read for my presentation in 3 weeks time. Oh shucks!

3)Been blog surfing - To friends out there who are currently facing challenges/problems in their life, JIAYOU!!! Things will get better!! After all, it's gonna be Chinese New Year! Pray for lots of luck! Family luck, romance luck, career luck, wealth luck...

4)Went to Volvo Ocean Race with Des!! Had fun that day though the atmosphere were OK.. Did the simulation and watch the video. Salute to the 8 teams.. Anyway, surprise surprise, met my secondary school friend there and had a nice chat with him. That's what started the desire to meet up with 'long lost friends'. =D

5)To Aloy and Royston, have fun on your exchange.. Though it's lonely to spend CNY overseas, do remember what we say... be friendly and approach the neighbours. Be hospitable to them - the Singapore way! Of course, do update your blogs to update us on your lifes over there. =)

6)My dad is back! Not sure how long he's staying, but it's nice to have the family whole again! As I said, age is catching up fast with me! =P

7)I'm working this Sunday =( That's the price I have to pay to have my 初一 off -> One of the bad points of working in a US firm. But on a good note, I took 初二 and 初三 off! Finally, I can rest.. Nicccccceeeee

8)I've come to treasure the fine little things in my life. I'm glad I'm finally starting to understand the simple complexity of life. I'm proud of myself!!

To end on a good note:
I'm happy with my life right now! Thanks to the people out there who love me for who I am! Thanks for being part of my life!!

Heh, finally decided to have my wisdom tooth extracted after like 1 and a half year? yar.. i know that i'm making a mountain out of a mole hill but hey, it wasn't as bad as i thought! Dr Yeo is great man!! and i do not need to pay for the surgery!! great! My only regret is that i didn't get a good look at my tooth after the whole thing... =( Aww.. Anyway, i'm currently resting at home and hopefully, i'll find some time to do some research on some places for an overseas trip!! Everyone jiayou!! =D

For those who are having exams now, know it's a tough period, but dun give up!! You guys can do it!! =D





heh, haven't been updating my blog.. guess it's filled with cobwebs and nobody ever reads it now..hah

anyway, couldn't understand y i'm taking cfa.. not even sure if it's useful... had been studying for the past few weeks like a chao mugger and still, i'm left with tons of readings.. i juz can't seem to finish the 6 books.. wat a bore and nuisance. i guess since i'd never mug like this before in my whole life, it's like a punishment to me for not being hardworking until the end of my uni exams.. =D

i juz need to study for 2 more weeks and i'm off to australia and new zealand!! yaya!! it's like the only motivation for me to finish studying so that i can start buying the stuff i need and start packing!! juz the thought of the trip make me wish that it's 10 of june now!!! heh.. can't wait! =D and, hopefully, the plan to go to some small island and live out in the sea will be realised... it'll be a nice relaxation trip to recharge myself b4 i start working... at changni business park!!

my god, tat's like so far.. but, i chose it, so bo bian.. hope the environment and ppl will be fun =D

on a side note, juz met up with fiona, baohui and huiling recently at holland v. went to eat at an expensive italian restaurant cos we went to the wrong place, hah.. all of us are like so blur.. luckily, the food was not too bad.. so still ok i guess..hee. guess baohui and huiling really din change much, haven't seen them in 3 years? and huiling had shifted.. to the condo tat my dad wanted to buy.. heh, it's nice i think, the place..

oh, juz being random, my backgate had shifted to right beside my block and i realise that there's actually a route where i can actually walk from the bus stop to my house wihout getting drenched!! hoorays to the new gate.. hehe, in future, i don't need to bring any umbrella with me when i go out!!(though i never did) =D

one last wish: may june 10 come by quickly!! =D





I drove for the first real time since I passed my driving 1 plus years ago... heh.. cos my dad's back!! shiok!! finally got some of the feeling back man.. though the journey was short( 1 full trip & 1 one-way trip) i really enjoy it... driving is as fun as ever!! hope i'll slowly build up my confidence after so long.. then can drive whenever I wan!! =D





having vba course now... been having it for 3 days le.. tml will be the last day.. thank goodness... think it's still quite ok, but... i'm so so pissed.... if u know who u are, then fine.. if not.... i can't be bothered too... watever... later may be going to ajisen to eat with augi, kenneth, des and weihao? heh... wanna eat crayfish ramen! and of course, prawn mayo!! =D





it's the end of exams!! yet.. wasn't really excited... heh.. guess it's the pressure that I'm putting on myself in the arena of potential jobs... really juz hate to think about it... really tired of job huntng.. submitting application forms.. if only i can be like a certain someone... heh.. no offence.. really really feel happy for u... no deny.. but there's still this thorn in my heart that's.. well, u know... maybe i shdn't have chosen finance at first... anyway... i've decided... i might not wan to go into banks... perhaps be a civil servant? heh... stable job.. no need to face the cruel reality of banks... =D

as for holiday plans... rather stagnant.. hasn't been planning much since exams juz ended.. hmm.. but i might be going China with my mum and aunties to 'learn the ropes'. Actually, quite look forward to it... hope that my mum will decide to go... if not, dun think i'll like to be alone in a foreign country with my aunts.. doubt i can survive.. haha. but it'll be from the 7th to 11th i think.. though not confirm yet...

oh yar... on the 1st week of dec.. think will be having a drinking party with elton as the main focus...haha. he's going India for exchange... though not sure why he chose india.. shall remember to ask him.. think tat he's eally brave to venture there all alone since the language barrier shd be quite substantial... not sure which part of India he's going also.. as for my cousin.. she was suposed to go india too for 2 months to work... and she's contemplating quitting her job... she can't survive there for sure.. if u know what i mean.. haha... not sure if she got the job that she applied... shall ask her when i see her in dec..

feel like going overseas too... sis was supposed to plan a trip with the cousins.. but somehow, that did not materialise..sianz... wanna go taiwan or hong kong.. and when i have money... japan, US, mauritius, maldives and venice.. if it's still there.. hah

as for the rest of the hols.. i wanna spend a fun-filled, stress-free hols, which means shopping, slacking ard and NO job-hunting!! maybe might decide to go to zoukout.. wanna see what it's like.. if there's alot of people going.. maybe can book a chalet? anyone interested tell me k?

seriously, would like to meet up with alot of ppl to catch up.. but somehow, feel that i'm beginning to be really anti-social... or maybe lazy? i dunno... really wanna make the effort but.. alot of mixed feelings... think i'll juz see bah....

Had a wonderful, fabulous lunch at the Humble House today!! Yummy!! Hah. Today's my cousin's wedding day and it's the first time I attend a wedding LUNCH. Quite unconventional. I like!! Anyway, went to the Neo Classic Chinese Cuisine restaurant located at the Esplanade. The place is damn nice!! Very artistic and contemporary. Classy too!! Even the waiters and waitresses uniforms are so trendy. Ups for Humble House! Anyway, the food are rather different. Not the usual conventional dishes. The style of cooking is a fusion I think, though don't know fusion of what. Haha.

Heh, was discussion with my sis during lunch. We were thinking that if we ever hold our wedding in this kind of places where the restaurant serves single portions to the guests, our aunts confirm will not have enough to eat!! My relatives all have big appetites and hence eat alot.. Heh. But I'm like super full after the 8-course meal so,I'm normal!! Had a nice time catching up with my family during the lunch. It's a good bonding session. =D

Just had FYP teleconferencing. Sian. Sill have a few more weeks to go. Hopefully.
